Aljalwas de Ajjonjolí (Turrones)

melt one cup white sugar until golden

caramel forms in a small pot.

Prepare a parchment sheet on counter and a rolling pin.

Stir in 3/4 cup toasted sesame seed and

1/2 cup almonds or your choice of nuts or leave out the nuts.

Stir quickly and pour onto parchment , top with another piece of parchment and roll out with a rolling pin as quickly as possible it will harden very quickly.

Let dry for an hour and cut or break off pieces and store in a tin box.
