Chicken

Lemon Artichoke Chicken


1 whole chicken, cut into 10 pieces
1 14oz can of artichokes
2 lemons, cut into slices
10 garlic cloves
1/3 cup olive oil 1/2 cup white wine (optional) or Water 
1 teaspoon paprika 
1 teaspoon garlic powder 
Salt and fresh ground black pepper

Preheat oven to 400°F
Arrange chicken pieces in an oven proof dish
Place artichokes, lemon slices and garlic cloves around the chicken
Drizzle olive oil over the chicken
Sprinkle all the spices over the chicken
Bake in oven for 45 minutes 
Reduce heat to 300F and cook covered for 60 minutes. Uncover for 10 minutes.
