Savory Galettes Recipe

4 cups bread flour
1 egg
2 tablespoons sugar
3/4 cup avocado oil
1/2 tablespoon salt
1 tablespoon fennel seed
1 tablespoon sesame seeds
1 packet baking powder (a little less then a tablespoon)
1/2 cup water
1/2 cup white wine
(You can replace white wine with sparking water)
🪬In a stand mixer, add all the ingredients into the bowl and mix until the dough comes together. If the dough sticks to your fingers, slowly add small amounts of flour, until the dough no longer feels sticky.
🪬Dump the dough onto a floured surface and form a large log, then cut into 8 pieces.
🪬Push the dough through a pasta machine 4 times to obtain a very thin dough or use a rolling pin and roll out dough as thinly as possible.
🪬Use a round cookie cutter to cut the dough, Use a decorative tool or a fork to prick the dough to create holes to ensure a crispy crunchy galettes.
🪬transfer to a parchment lined cookie sheet.
🪬Bake in 350 degree oven for about 15 min or until golden brown
Depending on the thickens of the crackers.
🪬Allow to cool completely for at least an hour.
🪬Store in a tin or well sealed container to retain crispness
